Shaw Boiler and Mechanical (formerly Aire Serv) is Hampton Roads' Premier Boiler and Mechanical specialist. We are a Commercial and Industrial Boiler, Mechanical, and HVAC Contractor located in Portsmouth, VA. Due to current and projected growth, we are seeking a well-rounded, experienced individual to complete day-to-day office and warehouse duties, and additional support as needed for our growing team.

Responsibilities:
- Hours: 7:30am - 4pm
- Creating and completing purchase orders to include proper documentation.
- Shipping and receiving, including unloading and processing of items.
- Load and unload incoming freight trucks using a forklift.
- Responsible for Inventory Management System, housed within our company software.
- Move, store, and track materials, supplies, and merchandise in and around the warehouse.
- Maintain stock in an organized fashion on shelves or in proper locations.
- Notate location of parts inside the service software so employees know which parts they need for each job.
- Work with the Accounting Department to resolve vendor issues, including communicating directly with vendors.
- Update management of inventory statuses and/or issues.
- Use Microsoft Outlook for daily communications between employees and vendors.
- Use Microsoft Excel for tracking and live daily reporting of part statuses.
- Work with the office staff and field employees to keep Office supplies and Field PPE stocked.
- Track and manage vehicles to include maintenance, inventory, and devices.
- Management of weekly employee uniforms.
- Clean and Manage all warehouse spaces.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently and with minimal direction after proper training of existing processes.
- Prior Forklift Operation is Required
- Ability to lift and move over 50lbs.
- Acceptable driving record required.
- Intermediate to Advanced user of Microsoft Office Products.
- Must be attentive to detail and handling of shipments.
- Practical knowledge of warehouse, data processing, paper flow, and operations procedures.
- Knowledge of Service Software such as Service Titan or Field Edge is a plus.
- The ability to search for and identify parts for the Boiler and HVAC industries is a plus.
