This list is for a Commercial/Industrial Boiler and Mechanical Estimator. 

JOB FUNCTIONS:

Estimating and Preparing Quotations for Installations, Upgrades, and Servicing:
  • Steam Boilers and Boiler Systems
  • Hydronic Boilers and Boiler Systems
  • Cooling Towers
  • Chillers
  • Mechanical Rooms
  • Facility Piping and Piping Systems
  • Anything of Value that You Can Find to Quote that Falls Within Our Expertise. 

Field Service Experience is a MUST in order to properly evaluate and estimate projects. This position is the perfect opportunity for a field service technician/mechanic to move into that sales position he/she has always wanted.

As Professional Sales Associate you are a key member of the team who proactively generates sales and nurtures relationships. You are responsible for visiting customers to determine their HVAC and Boiler needs and make the appropriate recommendations for system Maintenance, Repairs, and Installations. Exemplifying our code of values by showing respect and courtesy to all customers and employees. 
This position is for you if you are self-motivated, energetic, and results oriented with a high level of work intensity and a bias for action. You are driven to provide the highest level of customer service and satisfaction and able to effectively manage a variety of situations on a day-to-day basis. 

Specific Responsibilities:
  • Estimate HVAC, Boiler, Water Heating, Controls, and Piping projects (Commercial/Industrial)
  • Run sales calls to Commercial and Industrial clients in our service area
  • Call on new Commercial/Industrial customers on a daily/weekly basis
  • Manage the projects you sell, both manpower and materials procurement to ensure sales margins
  • Receive incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner
  • Complete all necessary paperwork including agreements, purchase orders, job starts, and heat gain and loss calculations.
  • Attend weekly sales/project management meetings and coaching sessions.
  • This position is for a Commercial and Industrial Account Manager, with no residential sales.
Job Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Prior industry experience is a must
  • Computer literate, with working knowledge of word processing, business software, and spreadsheet applications
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills to ensure scheduled deadlines are met
  • Professional appearance and personality
  • Knowledge of facilities and customer base in our service area
  • Knowledge and ability to Estimate Piping Projects, both Weld and Screw
  • Knowledge of Boilers and Boiler Systems - Steam and Hydronic
  • You Must Be Able to Estimate Time Needed to Complete Large and Small Projects
